The skin is a cover that protects the body and mediates between the internal and external environments. It has functions that are essential to life. Life processes within the human being and the rest of nature are interconnected. it is under this principle that Weleda develops its body care products, based on selected substances from nature, in order to support the self-regulating abilities of the skin and to retain its natural balance and health.
All Weleda body care formulations are based upon pure plant oils. Extracted from seeds and fruit ripened in the sunlight, these oils are the result of constructive life processes. Plant oils are more easily absorbed and processed by our bodies, supporting the various functions of the skin.
Weleda Moisture Cream for Men is a light and fluid cream which quickly penetrates the skin so that it becomes elastic, smooth and supple. This softening cream is ideal for use both day and night and suits all skin types. It is particularly ideal for sensitive skin.
Weleda Moisture Cream for Men contains an extract of Marshmallow Root to soften the skin, while organic Sesame Oil and organic Jojoba Oil moisturise the skin, protecting it from dryness. Carefully selected essential oils provide a fresh fragrance.
Weleda Moisture Cream for Men is free from synthetic additives including fragrances, colours and preservatives, and it is made without raw materials derived from mineral oils. Not tested on animals.
Quality Criteria for Weleda body Care Products
Life processes in the human being and the rest of nature are based on the same principles. It is on this basis that Weleda develops body care products that promote natural harmony - the result of the highest possible quality at every stage of the production process.
Product Development: Conducted in collaboration with doctors and pharmacists according to the principles of anthroposophy.
Raw Materials: Wherever possible we use only pure natural materials. We do not use materials made from mineral oil or petroleum.
Origins: Most of our plants are grown biodynamically in our own gardens, organically by certified growers or from certified wild plant collection.
Production: We select, process and combine raw materials to maintain the original life force of the plants.
Quality Control: Testing of all raw materials according to pharmaceutical industry quality standards, together with in-process controls and post-production testing ensures the highest quality finished products.
Additives: Weleda products are formulated naturally, without artificial fragrances, colours or preservatives.
Fragrance: Only pure, natural essential oils are used to fragrance Weleda products
Animal Testing: Weleda has never tested its products or ingredients on animals, either in-house or by contractors.
